Frequently asked questions

Are the apps really completely free?
Yes. rNote, rTacTix and rOld Pilot contain no ads, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no paywalls, and every feature is available from the moment you install them. We do not build these apps for profit. If something has to change in future to cover the cost of maintaining them, we will announce it on this page beforehand and will not take away features you already use free of charge (see Terms of Use, clause 10).
When will the apps be on the App Store?
rNote and rTacTix are being prepared for release; rOld Pilot is in development. If you would like to hear when they ship, just drop a line to [email protected].
Why does rNote ask for calendar and reminders access?
So it can show your calendar events alongside your tasks and write tasks back to the calendar. If you decline, rNote's notes and reminders keep working. You can revoke access at any time under Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars. Your calendar data never leaves your device.
Can I buy rTacTix tokens?
No. Tokens are earned only by playing — the daily puzzle, arcade, story mode and the other modes. There is no way to buy tokens with real money, and we have no plans to add one, as it would break the balance of the game.
Do I lose my progress and tokens if I change device?
Your rTacTix and rOld Pilot progress is stored on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, saved to your own iCloud account as well, so it follows you to a new device. If you do not use iCloud, deleting the app also deletes local progress.
Where is my data stored?
Your notes, reminders and game progress are stored on your device. If iCloud sync is enabled, data is kept in Apple's iCloud infrastructure under your own Apple Account — we have no access to it. We run no server and no user account system. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting the app removes all data on the device. For anything written to iCloud, use Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage. Since we hold no user accounts, there is nothing on our side to delete.
Which iOS versions are supported?
The minimum iOS version for each app is listed on the Apps page, and in its App Store listing once released. All our apps are being built to run on both iPhone and iPad; rTacTix and rOld Pilot require iOS 18 or later.
